Masters Recital
In my Masters of Music in Jazz Composition recital, I conducted small and large ensembles as well as individual performances of original music and arrangements. A tone poem painted a picture of a shimmering lake and the wildlife therein. A three part suite fused classical and jazz idioms while contemplating the nature of knowledge production. Dance Collaborative
Confessions… from the filter is a collaborative show choreographed and directed by Jessy Zizzo. I led the USF Jazz Trio in a semistructured improvisational experience that lended music to the dancers’ prepared performance. jam sessions
One of my favorite projects was the start of the weekly Funky Buddha Jam Session in Boca Raton, FL, where students and professionals gathered for years to hang, perform and network in an inclusive and laid-back environment. Read about the opening back in 2010 here, before it unfortunately closed due to COVID.
Hard Poetry

Side by Side
I arranged a show of big band tunes originally performed by Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme into jazz trio arrangements. The resulting show, Side by Side, has toured the United States including a run in Las Vegas. More instrumental arrangements in various styles can be found here.
